Ta-Ku | SoundCloud Community (50 Days For Dilla & 25 Nights For Nujabes

Perth-based producer Ta-Ku created a beat a day earlier this year for two separate tribute albums for his biggest inspirations, J Dilla and Nujabes.

Hear him share a behind-the-scenes look into the inspiration behind dedicating time daily to create something new. He also imparts great advice to those looking to do something similar.

Provocative Chinese artist and human rights advocate Ai Weiwei has debuted the first single, Dumbass, from his forthcoming heavy metal album, The Divine Comedy, via his SoundCloud profile. The confrontational and explicit lyrics allude to the trauma he experienced during and after his 81 days in prison on a tax evasion charge. Great news from Soundway Records. All-star Colombian ensemble Ondatrópica just launched a remix competition for their new track Tiene Sabor, Tiene Sazón. The winning remix, chosen by members of the band, will be released digitally through Soundway Records this summer. The winner of the competition will also win a signed copy of the album and be upgraded to a Pro Unlimited SoundCloud account. More details and the stems are available here. The deadline for submissions is June 17th. All entries must be submitted via the Ondatrópica - ‘Tiene Sabor, Tiene Sazón’ remix group on Soundcloud. Good luck everyone.
