The whole idea, he [David Noël] explained, is to “showcase the breadth of how sound can be used in many different ways.” In other words, it’s a goodwill-fostering way to model the type of content the SoundCloud team would like to see on the platform, and perhaps inspire users to new heights of creativity. (No mean goal, that.)
