soundcloud: Who are you and what’s important to you? SoundCloud Heroes are kicking off the year with a community organized project: Audiobiography, an opportunity to introduce your profile and sounds. Whether you’re a listener or an avid creator, introduce yourself by participating in this collective project. It’s easy: Record or creatively share a sound that describes and answers the question: who are you and what’s important to you? Perhaps it’s a freestyle rap, or a recording that features your latest piano composition as background music. Keep the track to ~90 seconds. Name the track Audiobiography with your name, as such “Audiobiography: Ben Z.” Add a description. Tag the track “audiobio” and upload. If you have the Spotlight feature, pin the sound to the top of your profile. You can also add the sound to your profile’s description under your Advanced Settings. Need an example? Hero Ben Z uses hip hop to express who he is.  Audiobiography is going to be massive. Heroes want everyone in the community to be part of it to collect as many audiobiographies as possible by March 31 and continuously more throughout the year. In the coming months, your audiobiography will be shared on SoundCloud, on our official blog and a future creative showcase to be announced. Die Community ist das Rückgrad von Soundcloud. Egal ob du Zuhörer oder aktiver Musiker bist, stell dich vor, indem du am gemeinsamen Projekt teilnimmst. Wer bist du und was ist wichtig für dich? 1. Mitzumachen ist leicht. Nimm etwas auf oder teile kreativ einen Klang der dich am besten beschreibt und beantworte die Frage: Wer bist du und was ist dir wichtig? Vielleicht ist es ein Rap oder eine Aufnahme die deine neuste Klavierkomposition als Hintergrundmusik enthält. Begrenze den Track auf maximal 90 s. 2. Benenne die Aufnahme „Audiobiography“ mit deinem Namen, zum Beispiel so: „Audiobiography: Monica Dockery“ Füge eine Beschreibung hinzu. 3. Klassifiziere den Track als „audiobio“ und lade ihn hoch. Wenn du ein Spotlight tab hast, dann füge den Sound dort ganz oben in dein Profil ein. 4. Du kannst den Sound auch in die Beschreibung auf deinem Profil einfügen unter http://soundcloud.com/settings/advanced. Audiobiography wird großartig sein, und wir wollen, dass jeder daran teilnimmt. In den kommenden Monaten wird deine Audiobiography auf Soundcloud und unserem offiziellen Blog geteilt werden.
