soundcloud: Who are you and what’s important to you? SoundCloud Heroes are kicking off the year with a community organized project: Audiobiography, an opportunity to introduce your profile and sounds. Whether you’re a listener or an avid creator, introduce yourself by participating in this collective project. It’s easy: Record or creatively share a sound that describes and answers the question: who are you and what’s important to you? Perhaps it’s a freestyle rap, or a recording that features your latest piano composition as background music. Keep the track to ~90 seconds. Name the track Audiobiography with your name, as such “Audiobiography: Ben Z.” Add a description. Tag the track “audiobio” and upload. If you have the Spotlight feature, pin the sound to the top of your profile. You can also add the sound to your profile’s description under your Advanced Settings. Need an example? Hero Ben Z uses hip hop to express who he is.  Audiobiography is going to be massive. Heroes want everyone in the community to be part of it to collect as many audiobiographies as possible by March 31 and continuously more throughout the year. In the coming months, your audiobiography will be shared on SoundCloud, on our official blog and a future creative showcase to be announced. Presentati partecipando al progetto. Scegli la lingua che vuoi tu. È facile: Registra o condividi in altro modo creativo una traccia che ti descriva, rispondendo alla domanda: chi sei e cos’è importante per te? Puoi rispondere con un rap freestyle, o una registrazione della tua ultima composizione al piano come sottofondo musicale. Non superare i 90 secondi. Intitola la traccia Audiobiografia e aggiungi il tuo nome, ad esempio “Audiobiografia: Ben Z.” Inserisci una breve descrizione. Nella barra dei tags inserisci “audiobio” e carica il tuo sound. Se hai attivato la funzione Spotlight, scegli quest’opzione per fare in modo che la traccia venga visualizzata in cima al tuo profilo. Attraverso la funzione Advanced Settings (hyperlink here) puoi scegliere che la traccia venga visualizzata anche nella descrizione del tuo profilo. Audiobiografia sarà un progetto di enorme portata, e i SoundCloud Heroes vogliono che tutti all’interno della comunità ne facciano parte. Il loro obiettivo è raccogliere il maggior numero possibile di audiobiografie entro il 31 marzo, e poi continuare a diffondere il progetto durante tutto l’anno. Nei prossimi mesi la tua audiobiografia verrà condivisa su SoundCloud, sul nostro blog ufficiale e sulla nostra nuova vetrina creativa, che annunceremo a breve.
