This seems like a really stupid question but how do i embed the soundcloud player on tumblr? I tried it the obvious way to no avail and after googling it all i found was this guide which again lists the no brainer way: http://watchingthewatchers.org/indepth/1355327/embed-soundcloud-tumblr
But every time i hit post all i get is the code on the screen. Again, i'm sorry to bother you with something that should be really simple but what am i doing wrong?

Hi Ruan & others who had the same question.
Currently, there are two ways to add SoundCloud players to Tumblr posts:
1. Paste the SoundCloud widget embed code as a Video post
2. Select a Text post and click html from the editing options. Add the embed code and click update and it will add the player to your text post. This also works for all other native Tumblr posts where html editing is supported.
Bonus 1: if you’d like to add a DropBox widget to your blog, you’d want to add it to your theme template.
