Today is International Peace Day, to celebrate this we’re pleased to announce that the Peace Mix finished track is now ready for download!
Earlier this year Peace Mix called on street poets, MCs, lyricists, vocal divas and musical minds around the country to submit their messages of peace, these vocals, rhymes and melodies have now been mixed into a powerful piece that will help share a message of peace to everyone!

Their first single was unveiled via an interactive promo using a SoundCloud player, their second single was delivered to fans in a private player with downloads enabled, the album was unveiled via an interactive promo using a SoundCloud app, they even released an album scavenger hunt and a lyrics drag & drop app, and then they turned their SoundCloud players public and gave embeds to Pitchfork, Spin and more.
The music portion of their website streams every song the band has ever done, too, all through SoundCloud. They’re about to crack 1 million streams.

We just pushed a new release called Find, Remix and Reuse. What’s happening?
Today, SoundCloud is opening up a bit more to allow you to find and share more sounds to use and reuse. With new search and discovery features for Creative Commons tracks, your creations can go much further. More options give you more freedom over your audio content on the web. It helps expose your work and find people to collaborate with that you perhaps wouldn’t normally find. We’re excited about this update and we hope you are too. We say “New features!” you say “Yay!”
