This week in SoundCloud Spotted we’re going to be focusing on the use of our groups feature for submissions, interactivity and collaboration!
Our first example comes from Fat Cat Records who use a SoundCloud group to listen to new music sent to them via their Dropbox.
They have a nifty little Group Dropbox widget sitting on their website which bands can click on to link through to their group and submit a track…

…and it doesn’t end there.
Fat Cat even have a dedicated Demo Archive where, even though they can’t sign every band who submits a demo, they can still highlight the best demos they receive and help promote new artists in that way.
If you’re a label, a manager, a blogger or you’re simply receiving more incoming tracks than you can handle, you can use a SoundCloud group to collect these submissions, moderate the content and stream them all from the same place!
Remember, anyone on SoundCloud can start a group, just head to soundcloud.com/groups/new to start your first group, and for a bit more info head here: CLICK
