Propellerhead’s Figure app now with SoundCloud sharing

image

We’re pleased to announce that Figure from Propellerhead now includes built-in sharing to SoundCloud. Figure is a fun music-making app with drums, bass and lead synth in an easy to use touch interface for iOS devices. Since being released earlier this year, mobile musicians have been using the Figure app to create little masterpieces while on the go. Now it’s time to show the world what you can do with Figure.

To celebrate, Propellerhead is inviting you to create your own beats using the Figure app. Share them to SoundCloud to have a chance to win prizes. Browse Propellerhead’s listening gallery of the latest tracks using Figure’s built-in SoundCloud sharing. Here’s an example.

How does it work?
It’s easy. Use the Figure app to create and share your creation with the world by using built-in SoundCloud sharing (available in Figure version 1.4).

Each play your song gets equals one lottery ticket in the prize draw. The more plays you get, the bigger your chance to win.

Prizes up for grabs for the two winners include:
- Beats Pro headphones and Beatbox Portable speaker by Beats by Dr.Dre
- Propellerhead Software music production suite: Reason, ReCycle and Balance audio interface
- A one year SoundCloud Pro account

The winners will be drawn on March 15th, 2013. Find out the full details on how to take part on the Propellerhead website.

Pianist Nils Frahm’s latest creation ‘SCREWS’ was inspired by his fans and friends while he recovered from an unfortunate injury. He offered his fans nine recordings to download, and in return they sent him their remixes, reworks, audio and visual reinterpretations. This gave birth to the ‘SCREWS reworked’ project: now everyone can showcase their reworks on this dedicated website.

Submit your rework — images, videos or remixes — and share them with the world. You can also view and share other artists’ and friends’ reworks and make comments.
