2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe Wrap Up
As August draws to a close, so does the world’s largest arts festival: last weekend saw the end of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for 2013. As performers washed off their makeup and packed up their amps, Brendan, the SoundCloud Community Evangelist , took some time to reflect on this year’s amazing festival experience. Hear that audio above. Good news: if you loved laughing at Fringe (or just following it here ), there’s no need to feel downbeat. Forget waiting 11 months for your next dose of hilarity: you can explore comedy on SoundCloud for thousands and thousands of hours of brilliant standup and other audio to feel like you’re back at the festival.

held court at the SoundCloud Shack for over an hour, pulling in passers by for quick interviews and persevering through a light drizzle. Catch them tonight at #edfringe. Carl Donnelly and Chris Martin

Podcast #1, Week of 3/26
Nabeel and I have been kicking around the idea of doing a podcast. Basically the idea is to record the stuff we talk about over lunch on any given day.
So earlier today we fired up Soundcloud on the iPad and hit record with zero editing. It’s about 12 minutes long and we talk about things like the
Job Act, YCombinator’s “No Idea required”, a to do list app that we’ve been playing around with called Wunderlist, and what’s next after Flickr.
Let us know what you think about our first try.
This is a great example showing how easy it is today to create a straight-forward podcast using the SoundCloud Record feature on your mobile device (in this case with our iPad app).
Bijan and Nabeel for choosing SoundCloud to record their first podcast. It’s a great one and we can’t wait to hear more in the coming weeks.
